A Motorola Wide Area Network (WAN) solution provides wireless technology with significant benefits that enhance the broadband experience for a wide range of organizations. The system's performance makes high-demand technologies like Voice over IP, video surveillance, broadband Internet access, and data or voice transfer effective and productive.
This information is transferred at high speeds up to 300 Mbps from either one location to another location • Point-to-Point up to 40 miles and/or Point-to-Multipoint (from one location to multiple locations) up to 40 miles.
In addition, products within the Motorola Wireless WAN portfolio meet the latest certifications for secure wireless transmissions; such as Data Encryption Standards (DES), IEEE 802.3 compliance, and Advanced Encryption Standards (AES).
A Motorola Canopy system can:
- Connect 2 or more office networks and eliminate costly T1, DSL, or other broadband connections for your company network.
- Share an internet connection between multiple buildings where running wires isn't practical or paying for multiple internet connections is too costly
- Monitor a video camera(s) in a remote location where running wires just isn't practical.
- Connect multiple telephone switches together between offices for intercom and call transfer (VOIP-Voice Over IP)
